Webcam Model Privacy Features when working with our Studio

There are many benefits that come along with being a webcam model, but there are some negative sides as well. One of the biggest fears many new models have is the possibility of someone finding out that they are doing this online. While it’s impossible to 100% avoid that possibility, there are ways to lower that risk as much as possible.

Many webcam models want to keep their job a secret from friends and family members, but they don’t know what to say when asked what they do for work. So we created a decoy website that contains personalized profiles if they put a type a small code behind the websites address. The profile says that they are a coordinator for a photography studio.

Geoblocking

Geo blocking is the gold standard in preventing people from certain areas from finding your online profile. This feature allows models to block any city, state, or country they choose. This means that you can block all of South Africa and your home town if you wish. But be aware, VPN’s or proxy servers can bypass the geo blocking feature.

Copyright

One of the best ways to prevent piracy, which is a customer or affiliate recording your live shows and using them to make personal profits, is to copyright your video feed. Most webcam networks don’t have any copyrighted images on their models video broadcast, so we do it ourselves. Major porn tube sites will never put copyrighted material on their site because it can lead to a serious lawsuit.

Plus, when affiliates record models shows and use it to get traffic, they normally watermark those stolen videos with their own images. So we prevent this from happening by watermarking our models video feed before they can steal it and do it themselves.

Google and DMCA Take Town Notices

Our Team scans the internet monthly for stolen content of our webcam models. In the unfortunate event that a customer records your show and uploads it onto a tube site, we can get your content taken down right away by sending a professional DMCA takedown notice to the hosting site.

Our lawyers provide us with the proper documentation and protocol to get these videos removed immediately. We send out Take Down Notices to Google which delist the content from their Search engine (no one will find it) and also Take Down notices in regards to the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) which take down the whole content / website where the stolen content was published.

WEBCAM MODELING Privacy and Safty TIPS

It’s important to stay safe webcamming, even if you’re not working at EBNY Studios. Here are some important tips for staying safe while webcam modeling. More tips & tricks.

Don’t Click Any Links
Don’t click on links or go to websites provided by your customers. This could reveal your approximate location or other information.
Don’t Call Any Phone Numbers
Don’t call or text any phone numbers provided by your customers, even using a *67 or an app. A customer might make excuses like they can’t make their microphone work or offer you money, but don’t do it. The safest way to make money is through the site
Protecting Your Personal Information
Never make the mistake of trusting a customer with any real personal information. Keep the online fantasy intact at all times. Always assume your customers are misrepresenting themselves in some way, too. Never have any communication with customers outside of our site.
Don’t reveal the following information to any customer:
  • Phone Number (even an app based one)
  • Email Address
  • Home, Work, or Studio Location
  • Social Network
  • Messaging Apps
Use A Fake “Real” Name
Have a fake “real name” you consistently give your special customers when they eventually ask. Make that second name hard to get out of you, as if it is your real name. Never actually give out your real name, no matter how much you feel like you know them.
Keep Your Location Vague
Most models tell customers they are from a state other than the one they truly live in. Just make sure you stick to the same fake location. It’s ok to provide your real state, but don’t provide your city. Avoid topics such as local news or events. Talking about a concert you went to last night would easily give away your true location.
Be Careful With Photos
Photos you’ve posted online before shouldn’t be shared with your customers. If a photo has ever been used on any of your real life accounts, Google image search can lead a customer right to it. Keep photos from your real life and photos shared with your customers completely separate.
